Beautiful Antique Gold Sardonyx Cameo Earrings - Wonderful!

Wonderful Antique Cameo Hardstone Earrings
Own a piece of history with these beautiful jewelry treasures!
These earrings date from sometime between the late 1800's to the early 1900's.
They appear to be made from a combination of metals that were plated or coated with a gold-colored finish.
(I cannot confirm they are gold-plated without damaging the items.)
The cameos are in excellent condition for their age and still exhibit a great deal of detail and depth.
One cameo faces right and the other faces left.
There appears to have been something that was soldered to the bottoms of both earrings that has been removed or broken off.
This in no way affects the appearance of the earrings when they are being worn.
You can see how the gold finish was applied over the soldered areas, originally.
There are no identifying markings on either piece, however, there is something unique.
One earring is marked on the inside of the back edge with what appears to be the roman numerals "XI"
and the other is marked in a similar position with "LVII".
Clip earrings - these are still very wearable today.

Dangle measurement:  17 mm long x 12.5 mm wide x 9 mm deep
Hardstone measurement:  8.5 mm long x 6.5 mm wide
