Description

This is an opportunity to own a nice Mackie  M4000 power amplifier.  It is a 2 channel amplifier that can provide up to 4000 watts (2000wpc@2 ohms, 1300wpc@4 ohms, 800wpc@8ohms & 4000 watts @ 4 ohms bridged).  This piece went straight from the box to the rack and, is thus, in good shape overall.  The face looks very nice.  All lights and both attenuators work properly.  There is a minor amount of rack rash, but nothing significant.  The sound is crystal clear through it and the power is strong.  This beast can truly handle 2 ohms as well.  The inputs and outputs have all been tested and pass signal as they should.  One single banana plug has the plastic piece cracked off, but is an easy repair.  The metal post still provides proper output.  It will be a great piece for someone.  It comes from a pet free, smoke free, temperature controlled environment.  Please read the specs on this great piece below:

M4000

is a high-efficiency power amplifier designed to provide long-term reliability in real-world situations. It offers two XLR/1/4" combo input jacks and a screw terminal block for input signals and two pairs of binding posts and three Speakon connectors for signal outputs, allowing you to connect the M4000 to just about any sound system. It offers a true 2 ohm power drive capability, allowing it to sustain real-world 2 ohm loads.
The M4000 uses Class-H circuitry to deliver cleaner power with less heat than other amplifiers, letting it run at cooler temperatures, thus increasing reliability. Fast Recovery circuitry reduces distortion from clipping and Adaptive Slewing Technology gives a fast transient response with low distortion. Signals can be output in stereo, mono, and bridge modes to meet any situation. Protection circuitry prevents damage from overheating, overloads, and brownouts.

The M4000 uses approximately 50% more output components than competing amplifiers offering the same power output levels. This puts less strain on individual components, resulting in greater long-term reliability.

The M4000 offers protection circuitry for overheating, brownouts, and fusing. Externally, the solid construction handles bumps, drops, and other abuse with ease.
